Ok, now update. Followed this video and used my Firestick 4K on older tv and it has been easy to use following your set up and I really like. On my other comment re the new LG tv, well, finally figured out it is not Fire platform but something else.. BUT, thanks to following some of your other videos and trying to learn how to use the Firestick, I discovered from your "apps running in the background video".. that the new smart tv leaves things open and running, hence the very large data usage. The Firestick is easy to turn off apps "sleep mode", but smart tv's not so easy, but with your explanations, I was able to go into settings and figured out YouTube was running 24 hrs a day, using up to 20 or 30 G's a day... since discovered & turning app off every time it is used...daily usage now 3 to 4G's and no longer way over our usage limits! Thank you for your video's and information. I love the Firesticks ease of use... smart tv.. not so much. Wish it was just a tv with a Firestick but you saved me tons of $$$$ with your info.

Thank you just ordered one fire stick on Amazon, already cut my cable a year ago and using an outside antenna with a good 30 local channels with Amazon prime and VUDU and utube . I think the fire stick will complete me .
