Applications of Integrals: Surface Area: Example 1
Показать описание
In this video I go over a pretty useful example on the area of a surface formed by rotating an arc on the circle x^2 + y^2 = 4 from x = -1 to x = 1 about the x-axis. The resulting shape is part of a sphere and I use the formula for surface area developed in my last video to evaluate it. This is a useful video on illustrating how to go about solving surface area so make sure to watch it!
