How much battery does the always on display use on iPhone 14?

If you have iOS 16.2 you should try this test again because you can choose to either turn on wallpaper and notifications with the always on display so if you turn off wallpaper and notifications or just the wallpaper and not notifications, you should test that and iOS 16.2 I bet you it would drain way less it’s because you don’t have 16.2 apple fixed this 16.2 you need to do another test because now there’s a wallpaper and notifications option so you definitely need to re-do this video again after updating

You have to do the test again because if you just took the iPhone out of the charge then the battery will take some time for it to drain.

Say, the iPhone 4S is a better phone than any new phones because it last longer you don’t have to worry about it ever especially since the new Q phone is coming out this year to replace the iPhone and I’m pretty positive if that has an always on display which I don’t think it won’t. It will definitely last longer than an android phone or iPhone currently out or coming out.

Not nearly as much as an android. I have an old S8 the smallest one that you can possibly get it with a 3000 MAH battery and it literally drains more than 20% in under an hour. What a joke Samsung is. For the always on display. I don’t know if Samsung has fix this with newer phones but the S8 isn’t that old it’s literally only four years old that’s not that old and it still drains more than the iPhone watch you would say the S7 is better than yesterday, but honestly, the essay drains less than the S7 does that’s for sure. But it’s still not as great as the iPhone that’s for sure it’s on the latest update to android nine. Because that’s the last version that it’s going to get and even then it still drains 20% and under one hour so that would be 40% in under two hours which means the phones already dead in five hours with the always on display way with the iPhone you could totally easily do a test and be able to easily get 16+ hours, especially with the new wallpaper and notifications option for the iPhones always on display for the 14 Pro with 16.2. You could easily turn all of that off and just only have the clock on for the always on display and disable notifications and the wallpaper and easily get 16+ hours of battery life on it you can’t say any android phone I’ll get that now I don’t use, obviously you’re not constantly going to be keeping it on the Always On display for that long for 16+ hours you’re going to be using it throughout the day but if you really wanted to test that you would be able to and it would easily be able to last that long if not even a full day especially if you let your phone run from 100 to 0% like I do instead of charging it when it gets down to 40% or whenever the low battery icon appears that degrade your battery more do you want to get 100% out of your phone I tried doing that with a pixel and charging it out like anywhere from 20 to 40% and my phone ended up dying after an hour or two I learned the hard way not to mention I’ve had my old iPhone X Max from 2017 for at least 5 to 6 years and it doesn’t have any of these newer features but it still last longer than android phones with or without an always on display on and guess what? It’s 5 to 6 years old they really tells you something about iPhones I even have my old iPhone for ass and I haven’t used it in weeks and it’s still alive still at 50% just sleeping the whole time constantly getting notifications
