My s23 ultra's battery life last only hardly a day, and sometimes I will have to charge it again at the end of the day around 6 pm or 7 pm which is extremely frustrating, given that " people call it the best battery phone" somehow, moreover I am running on light setting and even switched off all the battery consumption application but still max I get is 6-7 hours of SOT, some of the people on Reddit are also facing the same issue, but for some reason, no one is covering it.

Edit: Found a fix, just keep the location off all the time and turn off the UWB setting toggle in wifi settings, it helped a great deal for me and now I am getting 8.5 hours of battery life on an average from 100 to 20 percent battery drop. Finally satisfied with this great device.

Couple extra:
1. Powersavemode
2. Manual brightness
3. Dissable settings u currently/mostlikely don't use like location or Bluetooth
4. If ur at home use WiFi instead of mobile data
5. Put on battery protection(it's charges to 85%) which increases battery life in Long term
6. Darkmode
7. Turn off ur phone (not completely) when u put it away

If this isn't enough, what are you doing 12hrs+ aday on ur phone?

Its true I have it on and been using my phone since 6 its 1 now and the battery is at 80% this phone is incredible

There's many Androids that last longer including from Samsung themselves like A34 for example. Xiaomi Redmi phones also last longer

I am not getting the best battery life on my S23 Ultra. I am already running on light settings and have turned off all the battery consumption options, but I am still only getting 5 hours of screen-on time (SOT). Even then, I am only using very light tasks like reels and shorts. Anybody Please help...

It does affect and the effect is too much, you will instantly notice a little sluggish animation and requires hard strain to make some task done, I have tested it but i do sometimes keep it onn when I know my usage will be light

Not an Apple fanboy, but a few days ago I saw a Battery test between multiple flagships and Apple' 4.3mah 14 Pro Max beat the S23U by about an hour. That's pretty much the only thing I liked about the iPhone.

This is my second day with the phone after a decade of being an ios user exclusively. Is it normal for the battery to drain quickly right out of the box? Will it get better? I've heard mixed experiences. Some say that once "optimization kicks in" after a few days, it gets better. Others say it doesn't improve by much. A few says you need to mess with the settings, turn a few things off and a few things on to get the desired battery life. I mostly browse, watch video (youtube, netflix), and play mobile games. Please let me know if this is something I should worry about, or anything I should toggle in settings. Once again, I am brand new to this operating system, so any info helps. Cheers.
