BATTERY CYCLE COUNT

3 Different percent of discharge from 100% to recharge to full

30% 1600 cycles = 48, 000%
50% 800 cycles = 40, 000%
100% 300cycles = 30, 000%

(Example)

For 30% discharge per day then recharge to 100% can last for (4.38 years)

For 50% of total discharge in 2days then recharge to 100% can last for (4.38 years)

For 100% for total discharge in 3 days then recharge to 100% the battery only can last for (2.46 years)

So... if I have for example 50 cycles and I will charge up to 90% and use it to 10% and charge again only to 90% and use it to 10% and do this over and over again. The cycle will still be 50?

So for Macbook Pro, it is suggested that we drain our battery first maybe 15-20% before connecting the charger for longer life? (This is my 1st question)

2nd. If I just leave my charger plugged in my MBP with 100% battery and Green light on the charger, does it mean it is not charging and power goes directly to the laptop which means the battery wont wear out? Its green. Not charging. Is it?

Hi, do you know the DJI drone battery hub of the air 3, it has a function that let you transfer the remaining power of the other 2 battery to one single battery so you can use it again, .... I heard for storage purpose is better to have voltage between 60-70% for LiIon or LiFe battery, but for using every day you recommendation charge battery every time for 100%? Is it correct?

my question is about 12v 200ah gel battery, used for solar panels and wind generator.
if my battery reaches 14.8v, the controller it dumps the energy into a dump-loader, until the battery is 14v.
my question is: is that considered a cycle?

Shouldn't I mention the math, like an iPhone goes up to 80% of its original capacity after 500+ cycles, isn't it possible that the battery capacity will be dead 0% after 2500+ cycles (80% is like 4/5), which means like 500+(5) = 2500+ cycles, my brother have an iPhone 4, which is now over 1000+ cycles (now at 60% of its original capacity). And should it last like 6-7 years?

My Temgot 460AH lithium has been siting at 100% for a month and currently reads 100% 460/485. Does this mean I'm safe at 100%? My voltage currently reads 13.4v and my cells 3.36. My issue is that 90% of the time I am not draining the battery much. I charge with Victron mppt and dc-dc chargers. I wonder how much life this will cost over time? To make it simple It would be great if battery apps allowed us to set battery thresholds or if they just built in more cushion to keep the life up?
