Personally, I prefer to Max out before a mini-deload (3-4 days off). That way, I retain my motor pathways while feeling very well rested. Like the informative content 👌.

I like to do a short deload(2-3 days inactive) then max out typically I usually get good results from it

I took a week before testing my one rep max on the bench and it jumped 20 pounds plus my Amrap for 135. I noticed training too frequently was hurting my strength as well.

I see all these power lifters eating 5k plus calories a day (Dr deadlift specifically has been posting his 6k calorie a day Is there anyway for nattys to get away with that without getting fat? Or is just the gear making that possible?
