Eye Floaters Treatment Options Usually include

This study only had about 60 participants (so low sample size)
There was some conflict of interest acknowledged

If you do choose to take these vitamins on your own, please consult a local health care professional in your area before doing so.

My specialist recommended this supplement and I'm on my fifth month. I have a LOT of floaters and I'm not a good candidate for other treatments. Over time with this supplement, my vision has become more "comfortable" and I was unsure if I had a floater reduction. A recent visit to my specialist showed a good reduction in the floaters and I don't have as many large masses of flaoters. I'll continue this supplement and we'll see what my next exam in 6 months shows.

Thanks for this video. With my anxiety unmanaged I’m constantly fearing floaters and other anomalies. I really pray for non-invasive cures. Keep pushing this research! Thanks again

Hello, just to let you know in Bulgaria one of the vitamin complexes that we use for eye floaters is called Corpolin. It actually has exactly the same ingredients but it's as twice as cheaper.Greeting from Europe

I have been on vitreousHealth for about 100 days. My specialist indicated that I should try this for 6 months. I have PVD with several large floaters in each eye. I have not seen any noticeable improvements, but it has not worsened. Will continue to take this every day until I have reached 6 months, and contact my specialist with the results and request appointment for a new scan.

My dad had cataract surgery. But while they were in there, they also cleared out his vitruous and got rid of his floaters. I'm very envious of that.

As an artist who has suffered with eye floaters since my 20s, this is incredibly good news! I've looked with dread on the degeneration of my vision, due to its link with my income. In the last couple decades, the prognosis has gone from "it's just something that happens as we get older; you'll have to live with it, " to "can be moderated with surgery." To hear that there may now be pills to counter or prevent it... miraculous! I imagine it's how people must have felt in the previous century, with the advent of ASA and antibiotics. I sincerely hope that this study is followed up by neutral parties, with a larger test group. I'll be watching eagerly!

I’ve been using this supplement for around 4 months and seen major improvement. My floaters don’t bother me as much at all and I definitely recommend trying it out.

I improved mine by increasing my insulin sensitivity. I started getting them about 10 years or more before I began to show symptoms of pre-diabetes. My father started getting them about 10 years before developing full blown type 2 diabetes. I would suggest causation to be all about your insulin levels (and therefore blood glucose levels). Resolving them completely is another matter.

I have been taking the supplement referenced in this video for about four months now. As yet I have noticed somewhat less floaters, but not enough to really conclude there is a true reduction. I will continue on and report back if the improvement continues. Thanks much for the video!

I have horrible floaters so I find this very interesting. I already take Vitamin C and zinc so perhaps I’ll start by adding lysine. Please keep us updated on any new findings. It’s a step in the right direction and I’m always hopeful. Thanks Dr. Allen!☺️

This is big. I certainly hope they go forward with this study and making it more fleshed out. I got my first floaters 1.5 years ago and it greatly effected my quality of life and how I saw the world around me. Nowadays I'm adapting to them more and more, but man these videos do give me hope. While niche, I'm glad there are a few people who are actively working on cracking the code to this issue once and for all. I believe the eyes truly are the windows to the soul, and I think everyone deserves to have clear windows :)

My comment is about eye floater, not the study. A friend recommended Bilberry for eye floaters stating it got rid of hers. So I bought a bottle to try for myself. This was almost 20 years ago, but I remember my floater problem was much improved. When that bottle was finished I never continued taking Bilberry (I live on a fixed income). Just throwing this out there. Thank you Doctor for always providing us with the latest, cutting-edge treatment and science of eye care and health.

Those ingredients are commonly found in supplements and food. For example, Lysine is an amino acid (protein) found in meat and beans, and it should be easy to get the 0.125 grams Lysine found in those pills mentioned, just by eating some meat or milk every day. Zinc, C, easy to get in vitamin-mineral supplements, or I like the Elderberry (sambucus) gummies with zinc and C added. Hesperidin you can get by taking a squirt of lemon juice, or any citrus juice every day, or taking a supplement. Grape seed extract (and other berry extracts) are easy to find as supplements. So you don't have to buy the expensive VitreousHealth supplements, they're probably priced too high.

This makes perfect sense. I didn’t understand what eye floaters were made of until the video. After a deeply traumatic event, I aged physically quite a bit. I ended up with such severe floaters that I was having trouble seeing in bright sunlight. These floaters seemed to have cleared up, back to a normal level after 6 months or so.
So I guess all my collagen broke down all at once, made horrible floaters and got washed away eventually. Just a theory

Came here from the Diary of a CEO.
I loved the scientific talk and the information that was provided, but it was the last bit of the interview that tied everything together for me.
The lived experience, the transformative power, the inspiration for your profession.. we often time only see the organisations or the fields behind individuals.., so it was great to also see the person behind it all.
Great work and looking very forward to more eye-health information and research💡

I have tried it for 3 months now, it seems to work ok. I had a detached retina in my right eye a year ago and had Pigmentary glaucoma diagnosed in my late 20’s(54 now). After my retina surgery I noticed larger floaters that developed in my right eye. It was large enough and centered in my vision to distort my ability to see clearly. They gave me the same possible treatment you showed. Laser to vaporize, but the doctor didn’t want to do this so close to my retina reattachment. So I saw your video on supplements and found Vitreous Health. It seems to have minimized the floaters.
