Had severe Vitreous detachment in 2016. Both eyes detached within 4 months. Had Weiss ring in both eyes. Terrible. Tried Laser and it broke up Weiss ring but was still unbearable. Traveled to Wills Eye Hospital In Philadelphia where Dr. Regillo, Head of Retinal Surgery, performed Vitrectomy on both eyes 30 days apart. 8 years later, my sight is still crystal clear. He saved my life. He’s great, renowned throughout US, and highly recommended.

I saw 2 eye doctors over the last year and they both told me there's no treatment for them. Glad there are some honest doctors like you out there.

Had floaters for about 7 years....initially it was a stressful period im used those lil devils now..
One day at a time....aging comes with all sorts of issues ...ive committed these eyes to my heavenly father. Im sure there are folks who wish their problems were floaters but i admit we all carry our burdens differently. Blessings to all ..." ..embrace the imperfect...."

Thank you, Dr. Cohen! I appreciate your advice. I had an eye flashing experience over a year ago and saw an eye doctor. The flashes dissipated but left behind a big ugly black floater that stresses me out. The doctor said my brain would absorb the impression and I would cease to notice it. This hasn't happened. I'm seeing the doctor next month and will discuss your options with him. Thank you

Raw pineapples. One slice a day. I ate for 3-4 months and it worked for me. I do not have any floaters anymore. Canned does not work.

Thank you, Dr. Cohen. I had an onset of floaters (Weiss Ring) in 2021 and was diagnosed with a Retina Tear. I had Laser Surgery to seal the tear but no changes in the floaters. I was becoming very depressed. Finally, my retina detached a few months later and I had an emergency Vitrectomy with a wonderful retina specialist. I researched for months what I could do to help alleviate floaters. After my Vitrectomy and gas bubble to seal the detachment, a cataract did rapidly develop. Once the gas bubble was dissolved I was able to get cataract surgery in the eye with the Vitrectomy. I also had a retina tear in my right eye more recently that was attended to immediately upon the symptoms of floaters. All is well in both of my eyes. I have been taking the supplements recommended for several months and I can testify to the fact that they work for me. Thank God for opthalmologists and retina specialists.

Dr Cohen, I am a retired medical researcher and would like to share my observation on my own floaters with you. I have clouds of them. If you keep your body alkalized (with sodium citrate, which you might have to take for some other condition such as a tendency to form kidney stones), then you will notice the floaters a lot more. If you discontinue the citrate, you will "see" them much less, though they are all there. I have done this experiment on myself several times and the results were 100% repeatable. I wonder what the result would be if somehow one could "acidify" the vitreous a tiny bit.

Thank you for saying that about embracing the imperfect being part of our growth as humans. That was really helpful.

Thanks for the great advice. I have floater in both eyes. I considered laser treatment but many people in the forums said it made thing worse. I don’t notice them so much these days maybe I’ll try the supplements. The vitrectomy is reserved as a last resort!

Two years ago, I had a viral infection- not Covid - I had a high temperature, headache on the side of the heafpd, general feeling of tiredness and aching bones. A few days later, I woke up with floaters in my eyes, not big, translucent. They did not bother me too much. However, there was one ver small black dot which moved around just like the floaters.
I have been taking D3, K2 and zinc for 3 months now and they have disappeared, at least for the time being.

69 YO female - had a set of pull down stairs land on top of my head. Thankfully, no bleeding, just put ice pack on top of head. Two days later had headache and a HUGE floater that, like a monster arm, moved across my eye every time I blinked. Also had flashing white little lights appearing in peripheral. Did a bit of research and looked at study about MacuHealth.
Eye doctor saw me immediately and saw the floater in the middle of my macula. Also said the vitreous sac had detached, no retinal issue, thank goodness. We talked about the study and I looked up MacuHealth and what was in it, along with pricing. WAs already taking many of the items in the supplement separately, so ordered the other items, also separately. This meant I was then taking many more milligrams of what was in MacuHealth, but I was doing that prior to the floater. Within a month, the floater began disappearing. After two months, it was completely gone and not returned. A follow up yearly visit showed everything had righted itself.

I was rid of all floaters by laser in my right eye and most in my left eye except for one kind of a spider webby one. I just ignore it most of the time because it just seems to bounce from left to center and back. It bugs me but I don’t go nuts over it either. I was told by an optometrist to find a Retinal Opthamologist. I did and he was great.😁

A couple of these will work. Laser therapy will work, but has "risks" and
removal of the vitreous will work, which is then replaced with a gel. Don't
forget, if one of these things does work - great, but if it doesn't, are you
willing to lose your entire or partial sight, in one or both eyes ? Not worth it.
I have about 150 - 200 floaters in my right eye, and "none" in my left eye.
The rest of the cures in this video are just not true. Pie in the sky.

I think even if you have floaters, you can still have great vision, and be
thankful for that, and not blind, or close to blind. I've had floaters since
about 15 years old, and I'm now 71 years old. You have to put up with them,
and your brain learns to adjust to them. Life isn't perfect, but be happy you
have eyesight, and good health otherwise.

I’ve had floaters my whole life. They’re transparent for the most part and I’ve just learned to accept/ignore them. I’d like to try a natural solution. No lasers or chemicals unless my vision was threatened.
