I needed to understand quark much better. I am glad this channel is very reliable. Thank you Professor, you never assume what students should know, you always explain from the very basic to the advance and I appreciate that about your teaching style. This is why I recommend your videos.

Where do positive up quarks get negative charge to become negative down quark and vice versa in beta decay when there is no input of any charge. Instead proton & neutron lose positive & negative charge. Are electron/positron single charge particles & proton/neutron dual charge particles. After losing +1 charge in beta plus decay there should be one neutral up quark, one +1/3 up quark & one -1/3 down quark.

if a color and the corresponding anticolor are comprised within two separate quarks of the same nuclear particle would the color charges repel attract one another? Thanks for your videos, very informative
