Much love brotha! You are an inspiration! Kinda in the same boat after rmt first kid, no motivation to get back in the gym and she is already 2 & 1/2.

I’ve always been super active and lean, up until last aug/sept when I got injured training for my first 100-miler. I went from running 65 miles a week in training to zero but still ate like I was. I ended up running and finishing my 100 miler but still wasn’t ‘back.’

Although I ran a 50k and 40 miler not long after that race I still think I’m injured and haven’t run at all this year. Lately I’m trying to loose the extra weight I’ve put on but haven’t gotten back into running yet. I’ve been lifting more and overall just bringing more activity back, but it’s still really hard for me to manage caloric intake because I’m so used to large portions and eating a bunch throughout the day to support running so many miles.
