Totally agree with Dan 👌👍. As I myself make 90% of my floats. I'm on a low income 🙁. I made a couple of floats, using widgets. That come out of Guesses beer cans. Be4 you insert the staw. Injected some crazy glue, then some split shot. Let it set up, then insert your thin staw. Sell it up & paint it 👍, different colours top& tail. Wrks awesome 😀 for trout fishing, on a ultra light spinning rod . Wet or dry fly , as the weight in the float get you the distance.

Hack #7, I use one of those light up bobbers (clear plastic red or yellow) and use a paperclip on top to hang on my line. Night fishing it works great.

All are great ideas. It occured to me, that when sealing up the drinking straws, you could add BB's or small beads, to make your own rattles!

Appreciate you putting this stuff together for us.
I've told a bunch of people about your stuff. When I'm around folks and get to discussing fishing, I'll rattle off a bunch of your hacks, and they think I'm brilliant ( but then they remembered who they was talking to ) so I make sure and tell them about your channel.
I sure hope yall are enjoying this crazy weather this year better than we are in North Central Texas. Anyway, get busy and think up more stuff for another video.

The "straw finesse float" works awesome as a strike indicator for fly fishing too. And you can put a small glow stick in the straw...

Mini glowstick inside the drinking straw. At the float or on the rod, cool addition for night fishing. Match the float and rod colors for multiple rod use.

I turn plastic Easter eggs in to bobbers and if I must say they work pretty good you can put ..tiny glowsticks ... Metal bbs... Or popcorn kernels before you seal it up
or buy the plastic Easter eggs that can screw and poke. Tiny holes in it and put bait in it
