I find WD40 was great for making the tyres on my bike nice and shiny and it repelled the water when it rained - Rob, ward 11, Darlington Memorial Hospital.

Love how you stood the bike upside down to lube the chain.... took me back to a banana seat bicycle as a kid, great content 👌

That may be a cheap bike but I still feel sorry for how they're treating it.

I like the way you only incorporated real life scenarios. Just converted over to WD-40 on my car, truck, motorcycle and grandmother's IV. Thanks again for all of your advanced research and expert advice!

The part when he had the bike upside down to lube the chain like you did with your bicycle when you were a kid... I lost it.

One of the best genuine automotive uses for WD-40 is on engines with an old-fashioned distributor. Pop the cap off, soak the interior with WD-40, shake out the excess, and slap it back on. The WD in WD-40 actually stands for Water Displacing, and it does a great job of making sure there's no moisture inside your distributor cap. This makes the engine run better. Where I live it tends to be very humid all year round, so it's great for me.

I highly recommend WD-40 to coat frame and motors on motorcycles ATVs and scooters. I bought a 400ex almost 20 years ago and it still looks brand new because I always coated it down after use. WD-40 this disabled American needs a good job if you want to use my ATV for demonstration purposes.

This is like watching "JACKASS" for bikers.

Lots of good pro tips here. A lot of rookies don't know you're supposed to light the WD40 on fire when you spray it on the chain, to lock it in.

Note to self: don't buy this bike when it shows up on craigslist...

WD is fine product for some uses but not all. For a chain drive on a motorcycle, it is too thin and will fly off upon your first ride resulting in a labour intensive cleanup as it goes everywhere. I highly recommend you use a specific lubricant made for motorcycle chains . Some have some wax in it to maintain its adherance to the chain so it doesnt fly off. For general lubrication purposes I prefer a silicone spray oil which leaves some silicone behind long after the petroleum has evaporated. To loosen frozen bolts / screws I prefer PB Blaster and repeated applications ( patience ) before attempting to remove it.

This was one of the best, off the wall videos you've made in a while. The humor in all of the wrong uses for WD-40 was top notch.

WD40 I don’t think it’s flammable but the butane used as a propellant. Not a big fan of WD due to build up residue over long term use. It’s great for removing adhesive, gum, bugs & tar on your car, moisture inside distributor caps in cars, it’s own residue build up and water displacement like it was designed for hence WD.
