One thing has to be pointed out: people who do bga chipset/gpu/memory replacement using only hotair with or without simple preheater, are more experienced, have more skills, than advanced service engineers, because they are certified, qualified only to push buttons, to start or stop BGA profile procedure on their advanced bga stations/machines. So the real skills and experience is when you do it manually but with success, using basic tools.💪

There is the reason I am following , because, I see you learned with the life, you not have everything "free" and you learn with the fights from your live and the problem's you solve without the right tools, this person's like you the right place it not on YouTube but like a teacher OR make training classes... I now it possible because i make the same in ps5 consoles from Controller ssd, in my pace the boss order a 5000 euro machine with alignment, but the time I am lost I am prefere solder by and (time in Switzerland it is very expensive)... well done MASTER.

Wow, that's amazing. Chip replacement without a BGA machine seemed impossible to me. This may be the only video of replacing chip without BGA machine. Hats off to forward to replacing a CPU video in same way.... Great

Hey Sorin Well done. I've tried the same proccess with regular hot air gun and 50 percent of the times i tried i was successful. I think it depends on the hit air machine and the size of the board itself. I have to say i was amazed with the little time it took for you to take out the dead chip your hot air machine is quite powerful

I find the type of criticism you get actually shows something positive, most of your audience are actual technicians, your content is helping business.
Is just that some times we get spoiled by technology and we forget that back in the day people like you did jobs like this with less than a hot air machine.

Great video. Try using flux on 3 sides to allow air bubbles to escape without lifting the chip.
