Learning to Play the Guitar (90 DAY TIMELAPSE)

For 90 days, I tried learning a new instrument for the first time -- the guitar :) I started learning (as a complete beginner) using YouTube tutorials, popular play-along songs, and a "Learn to Play Guitar" book. I played for 15-30 minutes every day and then time-lapsed my videos together to see the progress.

At the beginning, my fingers were burning. I was a complete beginner and was playing the guitar for the first time. I couldn't even play a single chord properly. For everyone: playing the guitar is not how fast you can learn it but for fun you can take all the time you need everyone is different in learning things (this was mostly my problem when starting to play I used to get so frustrated that everyone learns much faster than me but that’s ok)

I had a slight interest in guitar back in middle school (mid-2018-2019 I had and still have a creative urge to play and make music), but actually started playing February of this year. And I'm happy to say that I have made a decent amount of progress, n' I love seeing players like this post videos of themselves taking the time to improve as a beginner, it really motivates me whenever I feel like I'm drifting away from the instrument. 💚

A quick tip for beginners: it's easier to press down the strings if you trim your fingernails on the fret hand.

Hey Jess. Today was my very first day practicing guitar. WOW, how do you make C major look so easy? It is nearly impossible for my huge man hands.
