Hey Guys. I'm Raphaela and I LOVE anything to do with customer experience and product reviews. Seriously, it may be a problem. :-)

Long time runner, biker and hiker. Until 3 years ago I had only had one dog come after me and that one I just faced and ran at. I was very fit teen. It backed down and ran away. Within the past 3 years I have had 4 dogs come at me, two of which I sprayed just this year. I had had it with these off leash aggressive dogs. I'm active and fit for 62, but dang don't need to get hurt, recovery takes longer at this age. After the first close call 3 years ago I ordered Haut spray and glad I did. I have no doubt that the first dog I used it on, a Pitbull that came at me while running, had bad intentions, It was ignoring my commands to stop and when It got within 3' I hit it in the face. It changed direction and demeanor immediately. I always carry it now days.

During the mid-70’s I was in the entry job, that everyone must do regardless of your education, of being a Meter-Reader for the Power Company. Inside Electric and Gas meters…basements, attics and outside also…fenced in yards. I became an expert on dog behavior generally. My Halt was always with as were dog biscuits. I found it very useful against sand fleas also in high water-table areas. I would spray my uniform pant legs and work boots. I was bitten 7 times over the course of 4 yrs. A well placed stone, if you have the arm for it, really confuses them !!!

If you haven't already, replace the can with a new one, 1. To make sure you have enough for the next encounter, 2. To make certain it's going to work because some aerosol cans once you activate them can eventually seep the remaining propellant out. Better safe than sorry

I use this delivering propane. It stops dogs on the spot. Even insanely aggressive dogs turn tail. One can lasts a long time. About 15 or 20 shots.
