I did this 12 or 13 years ago. Almost went with the liquid cooled HDD enclosures and liquid cooled PSU also.

Higher end motherboards come with heat sinks for ram already and the top tier ram nowadays gets pretty hot. I see this being a genuine upgrade with most high end gaming/rendering setups already running water cooling

Edit: Then use used engine oil to see if the carbon and micro steel in it will improve conductivity
