I had the privilege of seeing the real deal, a 2017 Ford GT at the Chicago Car Show last Friday. Black/Red stripes. Wicked doesn't begin to describe the awesome looks of this automobile. Talk about drawing a crowd! It took several janitors with huge mop buckets to constantly clean up the drool around this magnificent piece of art. Had I not already sold my soul to the Devil....
Thank you Ford for building this Super Car and special Thanks to whomever allowed this automobile to be on display! I have a sneaking feeling it will be the last time I ever see an actual Ford GT :(

I Love vehicles of all types and Ford has my heart for a lot of reasons and this GT is just one of look at this company and it's commitment to it's product and job creation, , the fact it didn't take any bail out money in the more than recent enough collapse of our financial markets.. This GT is the representation of what an AMERICAN GIANT should be producing.... it's too bad that they aren't assembling different productions of this vehicles for the purchasing masses.... I suppose that's why the word RARE was created in the first place, , that and my steak.... This an all GT products as well other models of FORD are Amazing and speak loudly elegantly etc of their ability to turn heads and feed GO FORD !

Ford is top of the full line automotive food chain these days. The last 5yrs have been amazing for this All American 115yr car company. my fiance and I have 2 -2015 Lincoln's and they fantastic!

I can definitely imagine seeing atleast one of these bad boys at my local car meet. We've had everything from Bugattis to La Ferraris. It'll definitely be the center of attention for the next decade or so unless Chevy decides to produce a super car.

The Superlite Ford GT-R is a handbuilt car that is 700 pounds lighter. fits large motors and you can own it. It's faster lighter and it draws crowd in any circle. It's based on a winning race car and sounds as good as it looks! The best part is you can own it! Fran is going to be a very rich man!

The point that everyone is seeming to be missing is the fact that this car is made totally of carbon fiber; with North of 600 in horses and it weighs less most of the road going supercars. I've said it before in one of my previous comments the power to weight ratio was going to make this car insane!! Le Man was a testament to that even when they weighted down the car and DE Turboed it.... it was still able to deliver a top-notch performance the aerodynamics and everything about this car is light years different from the previous GT's.

wait, if it will have 630 HO and weigh 2890 lbs = 1311 kg, it power to weight ratio would be only around 0.48 and that's nowhere near the current supercars like P1 and Laferrari

Absolutely beautiful car, ..and stunning work from Ford. Only thing I'll complain about is the limited production of it. I understand 'Halo' cars and the benefits of having one but only 1000? That's a little whamby pamby to me.

Nonetheless, us underdogs will just keep modding our lowly Mustang GTs. ;)
