As a host I’ve heard of this budget excuse many times, I will agree that you have nothing to lose by negotiating the price but at least do it respectfully not mentioning your “budget”, if 50 or 100 euros will take you out of budget then you’re not in the position to be travelling, just stay home and give us a break 😁 I’d never give the discount to some person who mentions his “budget” is all I’m saying, I don’t know how it could work with other hosts
