I found a TON of sites saying you can use the old sim card in your new well, either the Straight Talk people are outright lying to me or what you're saying is not true. I made SURE I bought a phone that fit all the parameters and requirements to be able to just put the sim card from my old phone into the new one because last time I bought a new phone the sim wouldn't transfer, but I didn't know there were certain requirements for it to work that way. So this time I made SURE the phone I bought worked for both of the Straight Talk formats (CDMA and ? the other one) I made SURE it was unlocked. I made SURE it would be compatible with ATT which is the carrier my other phone used. I took the sim out of the old phone, put it in the new one and it didn't work. So I called customer service. The lady told me that if the phone was a "Straight Talk phone" meaning purchased through Straight Talk it would come with a new SIM card. If the phone was purchased anywhere else I would have to buy a new Bring Your Own Phone Kit which has a new SIM card in it. The lady was very adamant that each SIM card can only be registered to ONE PHONE and will not work in any other phone. How can there be SO MANY different sites on the internet that claim you CAN EASILY transfer your sim card to a new phone with STraight Talk, yet STraight Talk says NO, each SIM card will only work in the phone it was originally registered I'm, SO PISSED OFF. I have to go to WalMart to buy a sim kit and it's 150 miles round trip. But if I don't, it will take about a week for Straight Talk to mail me one!

I was a customer for a long time. When I tried to change my number, my phone stopped working and wouldn't make or receive calls. I talked to 7 customer service agents and none of them got my phone fixed. I was without service for OVER 36 HOURS so I called and canceled my service and went to AT&T. I had half of a month of my service left and wanted them to refund me the money that they owed me. The refund guy was very rude and told me that I would have to call my bank to get my money back.

I tried to transfer a SIM card from my iPhone 6s to an iPhone SE. Both used Verizon network and had same size sim. Service did not transfer over and now service on my current phone no longer works after reinstalling the sim.
To fix the issue I went to the straight talk website, clicked “help and support” (top right), clicked “more info” under contact us (bottom right), and then clicked “chat with us” to use there online messaging and got my service transferred to my new phone in about 5 minutes. Wait times will vary of course.

So my bill for my previous plan went through two days ago and then my phome broke, I upgraded using straight talks phone buying program. when I was ordering it, it asked for my previous phone number to use again, when I was checking out however it asked me to pay my date bill again? I just paid it three days ago. Do I real need have to pay it all over again to get my new one working? Also would my phone come with a new sim and a new number or something? They really don't make this very easy for you huh.

I wish I seen your video 2 months ago me and my cousin just went through that I gave her my old phone but I forgot all I did was switch SIM cards when she activated it shut mine off and I had to do that whole assign my number to the SIM thing and switch SIM cards with her so both of us will have our phones activated again

When you move the sim from to phone the IMEI number updates in their system just like att and Verizon.

I swap mine from a Motorola turbo straight talk to a Motorola turbo.. when I dial it said I didn't have the right SIM card that came with the original phone did I have to call a help get a desk I'm totally put out what to do..

This is 2023 bought a new straight talk phone..i want to transfer my old sim card to my new phone..there is no way to get to my new sim card except to take the back off..can I do that?

Hi I had no trouble transferring to other phones from staright talk but bought a unlocked phone from ebay saying it take straight talk ect. But it says my sim is invaild. so lol back to my old phone, Ok I bought bring your own phone sim to be here soon will that work? and transfer my number to that sim? thanks you helped alot in video too..

Okay what if you don't remember whether it's AT&T or Verizon Straight Talk how do I check that.
