I was on Straight Talk for years, then somehow moved and decided to go with local service. Now after 8 yrs, going back to Straight Talk! I have traveled everywhere and had no drops, always clear and find the representatives very helpful. I sometimes have to ask them to repeat, but then again I am 75 and less hearing LOL Great video, I could understand and will attempt this on Monday. My son always thinks he has to help the old lady! I plan on switching to Straight Talk soon, from AT&T. Where at in the process of setting up a new pre-paid phone from Straight Talk should i transfer my number? Do i need to set up the phone entirely and then use my previous phone to call and ask to transfer?

bro these instructions are incredibly complicated. imma go to Walmart to the counter and see if they can do any of this stuff without me being on the phone for hours with 5 different ppl. Boost Mobile is crap service anymore and I gotta change to something else before I end up stranded somewhere with no phone service. Why do regular people need to know all this tech jargon just to get our phones working?

In my rural area, only Verizon will work. No new SIM card or efforts with ST cs helped. I bought the wrong phone. Learned what to look for.

After they released the phone number from Verizon and I put the sim card in, the call got lost while talking to Straight talk. Couldn't get ahold of them...when I did they said to wait 24 hrs that my number wasn't showing up in the system...I hope everything worked out.
