What was life like for a neanderthal living 40,000 years ago? They couldn't speak so they had to use a primitive form a grunts to communicate, so how did they get anything done? In today's video we are going to see how neanderthals worked as a team to hunt for woolly mammoths for their meat and fur, and other aspects of their primitive life that just blows our minds.

As an anthropology student, I’m glad to see so many comments recognizing the the intelligence of Neanderthals. I’ve always found it unfortunate how they’ve had such a negative connotation attached to their name when in reality they were incredibly capable beings.
