My export settings in Davinci Resolve and some extra tips to improve video quality when uploading to YouTube.

I've been rendering videos at 45k-50k for 1080p and seen significant changes in the pixels of my uploaded videos, but recently I bumped up my render to 60k and saw significant and lower pixels especially quick motions in games that I play. Still experimenting on it, but my friend said that 60k is a bit much for a 1080p video.

Thanks! I pretty much do the same. Due to computer power I use a 1080 timeline, but then export in 4K. Can you maybe do a video on sharpness? I sometimes feel my videos could be a bit sharper (i do adjust it to 0.48 under color).

I do stop motion so my input pictures are crystal clear frames. I have always used DaVinci Resolve's standard YouTube render settings. I will try yours. 👍

Hi there my only issue is I record with OBS with the best settings 1920 x 1080 at 60fps and I record my games but notice when I upload to YouTube the quality just isn’t that great it’s at 1080p60 but doesn’t look like it. Is there any solution to this and keep in mind I don’t have a capture card of any sort! Thank you

hey if i wanna export h.265 with 10bit what setting should i dial in i tried different stuff and it breaks my footage like no video just audio
and i want it 10bit because i do heavy collor grading with 12 bit braw footage and 10bit its important for my narrative work

QuickTime uncompressed for lossless or H265 with Key Frames set to every 1 frames for near lossless quality. I use Dav Res for color correcting but I like to use software x265 for getting the best quality encodes and sometimes run the corrected files through Topaz Video AI so I like to have a near perfect file for that.

I would be interested to see comparison of a talking head segment shot on a mobile, point and shoot, m50 and a7siii. I would like to see how much of a difference is in quality because I guess with proper lighting like the one you have and watching the video on a mobile phone the difference is negligible. Or is it?

When I export a a YouTube short then Its not being uploaded as short video.
Its being uploaded as a normal video even if I try to upload by phone.
