Premiere’s native exporting tool is great for short videos. However, if you’re working on larger projects and want to export multiple versions of a video, Adobe Media Encoder is the way to go!

And there's one more reason (for me the most important). You can start editing a new Premiere Project while a video is rendering. If you render just with Premiere, you can't open another window and start a new project. But with Encoder doing the render process you can open a new premiere project!

Hey, Shannon. Can you please share what setting you have in Media Encoder to export multiple clips at the same time? I've only known Media Encoder to export one video at a time in a sequential format within a queue. Thanks!

Awesome! I was wondering what Media Encoder was. Great explanation, I will start doing this instead of using PP to do it. Thank you!

I'm currently working on a project that I need in several formats, including DVD. It's for a local amateur dance school. I would love to know how to do this, including adding 'chapter buttons' kinda like a commercial DVD, so the viewers have a 'menu' and can skip to whatever section. Hope that makes sense! If you have anything on this it would be awesome! Keep up the good work.
Best regards,
Anthony
