To be fair, a 5 year old can't handle a beagle.

The dogs licking him to death while he's popping shit about it lol

He's not blaming breed. He's very easily and blatantly stating that this is too much dog for inexperienced people to handle or control so when it goes bad it can have deadly consequences.

The same can be said for any large breed of dogs, it’s the owners responsibility to train, control their dog!!

Bottom line……..any dog not properly trained is a problem……. Not just the bullies

If you don't plan on training these types of dogs early and being consistent, do not get them. It is imperative to train them to prevent tragedies.

I have an XL American Bully and because it’s trained hes sweet. But if someone were to hurt anyone in my family, that thing will protect on his life.

Had one, most disciplined dog I ever owned. Could leave a treat on her head pick up groceries and she’d be in same spot. It’s all about the owner just like a rott.

Don’t get a dog that you can’t control, and don’t have the time or patience to train. I have 3 XL’s and they are the most loving and loyal companions I’ve had the pleasure of calling family. Training and socializing your dogs are a must!

My dad brought home a 110 pound xl bully he found tied to a dumpster in bellport Long Island …. One of the best dogs I’ve ever seen in that house. Great with kids great with everyone . You HAVE to spend the time with them ppl. It’s a MUST . It will pay out tenfold down the road

Even though she was the sweetest dog ever, I exercised my XL bully at 4am because people were afraid of how she looked. She was highly trained, hand, voice and whistle commands.

We’ve got a bully xl. Admittedly, only myself and my dad can take him outside, but he seems to understand how strong he is and plays with us and other dogs accordingly. He’s more into licks than bites, and it the most loving dog I’ve ever owned.

Owning my first pit personally, I can say for sure that they are one of those dogs where you need to have a firm hand and actually put the time/effort in to train them and make them respect you. I was super lucky to adopt mine when he was 2-1/2 and already was a very good boy. He COULD definitely do some damage if he wanted to, though, which is why they need to respect you and you need to be mindful of them around other dogs and people. Don’t get a dog that you can’t physically control. They may be fine 99% of the time, but you need to be able to handle business in the event something goes down.

I have a 2yr old bully here in Australia, people with other dogs are terrified of him but grandmas absolutely love him and will pull over while driving just to say hi.

I had a bully from a puppy to the day she died of old age.She was playful. Loving, she didn't know her strength but she was like a kid. All the children in my family love her. Even the children who was afraid of dogs trusted pepper.
