The carburetor is a fundamental part of a internal combustion engine which you don't have to be a wizard to understand.
Learn the basics of how a PWK Flat slide style carb works, what you need to know to set one up and tune it to suit your bike.

Everyone explains how it works but no one shows tuning while on the bike

I just put a 1996 CR144 engine in a 1998 CR125 and this has helped me with jetting because it won’t rev out completely.

Do you have a video showing the O2 sensor?

Wondering if you have any experience with blow through pwk? Mines working fine but I switched to e85 and fuel flow is up a good bit. Wondering if I can make an extension for the power jet if you will. to get it closer to half throttle and maybe get the main jet size down some? Also hoping for a bit more charge cooling although I know that's minimal. Currently I'm at a 230 main and 35powerjet but I feel the power jet isn't coming in until 90% throttle. Then it goes from a touch lean (good for spool up but not so nice when I peddle the bike at 40+psi of boost) to a good mixture. You think adding some length to it would achieve this? I can make new powerjets for different sizes pretty easy. I'd like to get it closer to a 180 main and maybe a 70 PJ if I can. Boost comes on about the same as throttle input.

but there is no mention about slow pilot jet choosing size... you say find in on internet what size is good... but if there is no information in it so how do I chose right and how do I know if its not to big or not too small what is symptoms of running engine when wrong slow jet is chosen

What are the brass pipes on either side ? Some sources say they’re vents and need to be kept open and others say they’re oil/vac and should be capped if not in use ?

Hey whats up?
Could you tell me why or what a 125 4 stroke engine PWK carburettor needle jet I should use?
There are huge range available so I bought one of each. The atomizer holes are vary 10, 12, 16, 18, 20 and 24. Any idea which better than another and why?

If we do not install an air filter on the carburetor, will there be a problem with fuel consumption and operation? Also, will this Maikuni carburetor work for about 3 years?

What is the reason for this, if the engine does not start, fuel overflows from the place where the air filter is to be installed model maikuni pwk 30

Little brother great video. I am doing a video today on tuning my carb. without having the time to explain the ends and outs of how a carb. works. I am thinking of linking your video to mine if people want a full explanation of how a carb. works. What do you think?

Hello. Very nicely described and explained. Unfortunately, I can't tune the carburetor on a 2T 110cc. When it's cold, it's a blast, but when it warms up, it doesn't. I put a terminator on the ignition, which allowed me to rev to 10, 000 rpm. When the scooter is warmed up, I drive downhill for a while without gas and then accelerate, and the engine chokes and smokes before it starts.I have a lot of fuel there but I don't know where to reduce it, whether to lower the atomizer or needle, or the idle jet or the main jet. I started at the main jet 90 and ended up at 140. If I stop with the engine warm, the idle speed rises to 2000rpm and if I give it gas and immediately take it off, it drops to 1000rpm.Fuel is dripping from the exhaust, so there is a lot of it, but I really don't know where to start. I have a PWK 28 carburetor. I have already spent 10 hours of pure time replacing the jets without a test drive. The spark plug is light brown, not white. So where to start what to replace. If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them. Thanks
