I'm reviving my 96 cr500 after hibernating in my guest room for years. You made a float adjustment so easy to check. Thanx

Thanks your vid helped me stop my gas from leaking After I cleaned the carb on my 74 atc90. Was a bit tricky cuz it has round brass floats

easier way to do it it is by holding the carb upright or at the same angle it would sit on the bike, blow down the fuel intake pipe to the carb . adjust it so that when the float line / seam is parallel with the carb base you should not be able to blow air down the fuel line . by doing this you will see exactly where the fuel supply shuts off and is more accurate .

My ktm manual on carb says 60 degrees. I cut a block of wood to that degree and use it. Good video.

Good video but on the little needle that goes on the float in the middle and it goes up in that hole once it's on there apparently my spring the small miniature spring jumped off where that keeper holds the Tang hook for it to be compressed up in that hole does it have to be a small spring there or can just that needle valve hold it itself

Bend the metal tab up to raise the gas level? And bend down to lower it?

Im watching your channel and its been very helpful so far. Thanks a lot. have a question. after adjusting the float height and lets say its correct when you fully compress the floaters(black plastics), does this little spring on the rubber neddle should be fully compressed too??? Cause mine is just touched and compressed half way

Nice tips bro.
One question:
Why it must be setup in 45' angle?
