Interesting video. Eliphas Levi was the nearest Hebrew version of Alphonse Louis. His Baphomet drawing is quite sublime uniting the dark and light nature of man to full integration. The goat's head being the inverted pentagram and the upright pentagram is on his forehead and the entwining caduceus rises from his muladhara chakra. It symbolises the way forward for man into spiritual enlightenment, represented by the torch of fire on the goat's head. Alora, you probably know all this already. Molto grazie.

Baphomet reminds me of the words of Auschwitz survivor Victor Frankl,
_“That which gives light must endure burning."_

Baphomet is the merging of two passions.
A journey of Integration and the art of self which can take a second, or last years,
but there is no escaping the "fire"

Moving through hours that turn into years, that fade into yesterday.
Time is the fire that consumes all things -- and all things being born from the nutrient dense ash of yesterday's world.


Baphomet shows us that we are both the spider and the fly, the weaver and the web, the prisoner and the cage.

Baphomet reminds us that being _truely alive_ isn't about being powerful OR being helpless,

Unless my recollection is completely blown, the date of the first day of the assault on the Templars by the forces of the Church was a Friday the 13th. One can speculate as to whether this is the reason why a Friday the 13th is considered to be inauspicious.
