Did the Knights Templar worship a devil called Baphomet?

In 1307, allegedly on Friday the 13th, the Knights Templar were crushed by order of King Philip of France and the Pope. For years, they were put on trial on charges of sodomy and heresy. One of the accusations was that the knights worshipped a demon called Baphomet. Some said it was specifically the head of this demon. But was there any truth to this? Baphomet was made up by the french king and is literally a mix of the word blashpemy and mahommet(muhammad in french) the templars were accused of worshipping muhammad, wich is ridiculous

They were accused because they had ancient biblical artifacts that would at the time say the Roman Catholic Church was wrong in a way and pope clement the third didn’t like that and in Philip owed the Templar a lot of money so they orchestrated the “crimes” and arrest and Jacques de Molay pronounced zhock de molay. Was burned at the stake along with other knights and the pope was threatened by king Philip. The knights templar is still alive today and still has the artifacts and is eating to travel them to the world when we are ready for them. If you look at the reason why they were accused, it kinda made sense that it was all just a slander to depict them as "evil", how do you slander a Organization of a Holy Order? Accuse them of doing the complete opposite of what they are doing


And besides the King of France wanted money, so they seized all of the Templars assets to compensate for it
