So if it was 3 in the morning would he have type 3 diabetes?

Anxiety disorders won’t let you sleep until you have an answer.

I'm constantly convinced that I have diabetes because I always have this massive need to drink like a liter of water right as I'm going to bed. ...and then I realise that my ADHD ass hasn't remembered to drink anything all day. Whoops.

He‘s probably just lactose intolerant, he should get that checked out xD

I once came home dehydrated (headache, shaky, craving water) and my roomie (who always bragged about her IQ) cried when she found out- she was certain I had caught her diabetes. She went so far as to start telling me that she would be there for my insulin injections.

I'd start asking exactly how he felt "weird". Was it a gastrointestinal issue or sudden bodywise issues. He could be dealing with lactose intolerance, hypoglycemia, or even a straight up allergy to dairy.

Yeah, this one rubbed me the wrong way. My own adventures with diabetes started like this. I went to the ER because I felt like I was going to black out, and was told it was just a blood pressure issue. I told them my family had a history of diabetes, and that I had just had gestational diabetes, but I was told that disappears when the baby is born, so it can't be that. So I get sent home with no tests. I take my own blood sugar, and it's in the 400s. I go back to the ER because again, I feel like I'm going to black out, and the admitting nurse is super pissed at me for checking my blood sugar! Why did you check your blood sugar!? You need to go see your doctor, not doing this yourself! A nice doctor on rotation said I was right, the situation was serious, and if I had any insulin at home and knew how to use it, get started, and then make a doctor's appointment.

Bro ain't telling Doc about the speed he did right beforehand. Even if you swear it's not drugs, they're still gonna test you for drugs.

Then you got people like my Aunt who felt odd and in pain so she went to her doctor later that day, the doctor checked her out and said that she needed to get to emergency. Rather than waiting for the ambulance she walked out of the clinic, went home and had a sandwich, then casually drove to the ER where the doctors were losing their mind waiting for because she was having a major heart attack! 😵😆

My nephew got Typ 1 Diabetes diagnosed two weeks before his second birthday. Was drinking alot, peeing so much he needed diapers again, wasn't feeling good, always tired... So my brother made a urin test from the pharmacy and the field for sugar turned nearly black instead of dark green. Immediately they got him to the pediatrician, who then rushed him into the ER because his glucose level was nearly up to 1000mg/dl! (should've been between 65-100)

I know someone who's wife was a nurse. They just were messing around and testing blood sugars (why I dunno not my idea of a fun night but whatever) his reading kept saying it was over 600. She told him he should go to the hospital. Surprise surprise he was diabetic

I need to add i woke up one day with a number of odd symptoms and knew it was diabetes. I had looked the symptoms up for my late wife before she passed on and recognized what was wrong. I didnt have any insurance and had to wait a couple werks for my new policy to kick in. When i got to the Doctor she said my blood sugar was over 800! In the month and s half while i waited for my appointment i had cut out all caffeine, and sugars and changed my diet. The Doctor said my sugar had to have been over a 1000!!! I should have been dead.
My eyesight was just a blur and my balance was so bad i couldn't walk straight. After a week on the insulin I had recovered enough to see again and my sugar was under 500. About a month later it was under 100. So i guess i had actually diagnosed myself correctly

I wish I had type 2 diabetes. Unfortunately got type 1 diabetes as a young child. It’s ruined my body. My health. My future. Diabetes is no joke. High blood sugar will catch up to you
