Great game, spend around 100 hours so far on it and didn't spend a penny. Characters are grindy, especially the Ultimate versions and there isnt any way to get cosmetics without micro transactions, but other than that its fun and worth playing.

Yes so, its called playing the game. You play the campaign you get bunny 100% free. Later on you can do missions to get Blair, Sharen and Freyna. Not all of them are "free". Those 3 are just easier to get because of the 20% chance to get parts from missions instead of having to do bosses or amorphous materials.

From my experience the grind is only really hard when you’re trying to get the ultimate version while in normal mode. Switch that bad boy to hard mode and you’ll get your ultimates in a breeze. Spent 36 hours farming for ult valby in normal mode. Already 5 hours in on hard mode now and I’ve got 3 out of the 4 parts research started on ultimate lepic. Just his code left and he’s home.

I only bought the new decendent when i realized the 36 items you need for each piece is not a 100% drop rate.

A few other things:
The access info tab will also tell you what you need and where to get it for descendants instead of going back to Albion everytime
There are 3 descendants whose materials come straight from missions and don't need to be crafted, those being Freyna, Sharen, and Blair

basicly you have 2 choice farming material to unlock new unit or spend $400 😂

some of the drops are harder to get like the cells for some characters, they say they're 20% drops but I've been at it for a week. make sure you keep the enhancment items you can equip since some of them have drop rates increases

Yes but the amount of hours grinding to get the stuff you need to craft one out of four takes some time due to drop rates

15 hours to go for my ultimate lepic. So satisfy when you have to grind to get all the ingredients. All in normal mode since I’m not strong enough for hard mode. Been thinking to speed up but then meh what’s the rush?

Been grinding 5 days for 4-6 hours at a time and still don’t have enough to craft a character. Drop rates for me are poop to say the least.

It's really simple just play the game and earn your descendants instead of using a credit card

Got all of Bunny's parts in 2 hours and finally unlocked her.

It is pretty fun. A bit laggy at times but I have put in some real time. I think it will be good go too when I feel like grinding after a crappy day at work.

Did the same escort mission 20 times and had zero drops i kinda gave up after that

Actually you don't need to go to anias, in your inventory menu under descendants on more info on locked characters it will show you the research requirements

Rather spend money and save those 100 hours on leveling up

You dont need to go to anais to find out what you need. You click the map menu then access info tab

The crazy thing is, you don’t have to spend money at all, to get everything out of the fame

As long as i have ult bunny everything is good xD
