In this video I go over an example on using the Arc Length formula to determine the length of a curve and this time determine the length of the curve y^2 = x^3 from between the points (1, 1) and (4, 8). I also show how we can double check our answer by noticing that the function is only slightly curved and so the distance between the two points should be just slightly smaller than the length of the curve. This is an important example in illustrating the arc length concept so make sure to watch it!

I don't always determine the length of a curve but when I do I usually use the arc length formula ;)
