Friend got a free upgrade to a Santa Fe. They couldn’t keep his Tucson out of the shop, so the dealertook it back.
The problems were electrical

Eh! This is the 2022/23 version…

However the new 2024 is Disappointing!! I’d hoped after nailing it with the perfect dash/screen integration Hyundai would keep same concept!

I’ve purchased the new Hyundai Tucson because the dash/screen integration is the best I’ve seen in a modern car…, way ahead of its competitors which have a clumsy screen stuck on top of dash!

This new design is backwards, the new dash is so bad it looks tacky and cheap!! If Hyundai continue this look, I’ll be changing to a different car next year! The bubble effect was bad enough but this dash is terrible! After all we sit in it!!

However, the plus is the cam recording facility, sadly the dash is so dated!! It looks like a big tray!!

I believe Honda is the only way to go. It may have better stuff but when it comes to resell value, most people would prefer a Honda instead of a Hyundai as a use car 😜

Sam CarLegion : I've been tracking your channel for 4 years now....and you really should hire some other guy to do your rendering and video editing because you constantly have LOWER SOUND LOUDNESS than your background music and compared to majority of other youtube videos we viewers always have to crank up the volume waaaay up to even hear you. The Honda has better ergonomics. The Hyundai mays you look down more because the gauges are placed lower and the capacitive HVAC panel makes you look down more when compared to real buttons. Hyundai has designed their interior to look futuristic, but they have sacrificed ergonomics here. The rear turn signals on the Hyundai are mounted somewhere that’s less likely to be seen. I know Honda has incandescent bulbs for that, but Hyundai does too

this year the CRV outsold the Tucson 2-to-1, and I highly doubt the Tucson Hybrid will end the CRV's 29-year lineage. This "RIP" cancel culture is just cringe.
