I hope Honda addressed the issue with the 1.5L T engine block design. Similarly to slightly older small displacement Ford EcoBoost engines, the limited space between the cylinders combined with a cooling passage located in the same location causes premature head gasket failures. The number of the head gasket repairs on these engines had been on a rapid rise

My friend bought 1. It looks great & they say they get 40-41mpg, but they say it’s soo slow, it barely can get out of its own way. Plus No spare tire. I’ll stick with our Outback XT.
