I was an 11 Bravo with the First Infantry Div. I spent a year in Vietnam with 16th Infantry Regiment, CIB age 78 and still moving!!

Funny I didn’t hear him talk about sweeping the motor pool for 3 hours. And taking everything out of a connex and then putting it back in. Over and over.

Thank you sir for your service! I was so blessed to come to the aid of an airborne infantryman Sgt from fort Bragg December 20 the 2019 ! He was enroute to his family when he broke down! He is so humble and down to earth ! He was a stranger but Left a good friend we love and respect our military here in Marion nc!thank God for our awesome military!!!!

Don’t enlist in the military if your heart, mind, soul are not 100% certain you want to be their. That’s why we have so many negative, bad attitude, big ego, toxic people, in it. Find your group like this man said who are not negative and don’t drain you . Find motivated people who are like minded. It will make your experience and journey in the military so much better.

My son scored 76 Azvab and QT 121 and still went 11B, he is in red phase right now. I got a 30 second convo, meant the world to me tonight. I was 11 years in law enforcement, and grandpa is still a deputy, 20 Its in the blood I guess

Great video, this dude seems really humble and respectful. He brought a lot of info and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does.

Currently processing for the Army. Prior service Marine Sgt. Thankfully, I get to keep rank. I’m excited to see how I will fit in with another team of brave individuals.

Dude’s a solid man. He’s currently in 10th Mountain deployed in Iraq, he was my team leader and now good friend. Crazy seeing this 😂. You go Raymond!!

I scored a 94 on my ASVAB. I chose 11B as an MOS and fucking loved every minute of it.

Watching this with my 18yo HS Senior son who’s heading to MEPS to enlist tomorrow trying to help him decide on an MOS. I served 1988-2014, as 19D enlisted (10yr), then OCS, and commissioned as Infantry officer. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to explain to people how, I’m modern warfare, the combat arms are not at all for dummy meatheads, quite the opposite. It’s a stereotype that dates back to the days of large scale drafts during wars where Infantry were considered almost cannon fodder; “if you don’t have any special skill, you get sent to the Infantry.” In today’s professional military, we need the total package in the combat arms: mental/physical toughness, high intelligence and good decision making and interpersonal skills.

The best job in the Army is being a Salty Specialist that has deployed once or multiple times with a Combat Infantry Badge. No responsibility, and The Sham shield is Strong with them Salty E4s..

Back in 1990 my Army recruiter threw the old Airborne school offer on the table. I respectfully declined. I am not ashamed to say that I have a problem jumping out of a perfectly fine aircraft.

Combat Arms are definitely character builder; one is tested to their core. Served 8 years as an infantryman; motivated me to pursue military and civilian schooling. 101st was my 1st duty station, 2nd BN Rakkassans; got my EIB, AirAssaulu, Airborne; best times of my career. Retired after 25 years of service, as an O4; living the dream, retired @45 in the Philippines.
