My favorite job was 11B. I served with the 82nd and others, but Bragg was my favorite. That's when we were there anyways; he isn't kidding about the training and time away. Great stepping stone into Ranger or SF too. Valuable skillset overall and makes you appreciate the little things that really matter.

Army Reserves has a few 11B positions in the 100th Infantry Battalion. The last Infantry Formation the Army Reserves has.

My recruiter was a grunt. He talked me out of wanting an infantry mos. So I chose a Commo mos. I ended up in an Airborne Infantry unit (SETAF)
I then left there and wound up in a Chinook unit. Totally different worlds.
It was culture shock.

I loved to wear jungle boots every chance I had, but this new footwear looks amazing how far technology has advanced. Simple as that. The boot on the ground determines the morale of that warriors well being.
