I learned from the first few callers that not only should I get out of debt to buy a home and start a family one day, but to be prepared for anything! I don’t know whether I’ll have triplets or a child with health issues, or anything else. Debt on top of those challenges sounds so stressful. Love the saying...finances are not the problem. Its a symptom. Same goes with alcohol. Alcohol was not the problem, it was a symptom of the chaos inside of me.

I remember Larry Brickett! Yes, money matters. My dad made me read his comic style book on economics as a teenager. My husband also read the book as a teen. We plan to include his book into all 10 of our children's homeschool reading. We are a one income family, have made money mistakes in the past but are working it out. We will be out of debt soon, house and all! 10 kids, age 13 years and under
