Module 4: Dealing with Challenging Behavior

The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) deals with a range of problems in the classroom including those at the intensive level meant to serve a few students with more difficult behaviors. This module has three goals: (1) to understand challenging behavior through the lens of trauma informed practice, (2) to provide specific strategies for addressing emotional and behavioral challenges, and (3) to discuss provisions for students with disabilities at Tier 3 of MTSS.
