Thank you so much for these videos.
My husband has ADHD and my five year old son most likely has it too. I homeschool, so social interactions with peers is minimal, but I try to schedule them as often as I can.

My daughter is 3, almost 4, and has huge issues with self control, mood regulation, attention seeking behavior, and her own attention span, and some aggression. I realize ADHD is much less common I girls or that it can manifest differently as my own brother and I are only 1 year apart and he was diagnosed and treated for ADHD in middle school while I suffered well into adulthood without a diagnosis. Without previous experience treating my own at such a young age and without drugs, I'm at a loss. If you or anyone has resources that worked for them I'd be very grateful if you could share! Thank you!

But what do you do when the lack of impulse control ends up putting others at risk. For example: my 5 year old will get totally hyper and crash through the house, spinning not paying attention to where his siblings are and hurting them by knocking them over or smacking them with his flailing arms.

If individual therapy is not recommended for kids with adhd, what kind of professional therapy is? What should we be doing in place of individual therapy. I'm a parent with an 18 year old teen that was diagnosed at the age of 14, he suffers from lack of impulse control and this it is the first time I hear that individual therapy is not recommended. Please help.
