SOUND QUALITY SHOOTOUT: Janis Joplin Pearl!

My copy is on the shelf waiting to be listened too. Been busy and I definitely want to be able give it my full attention when I do finally play it. Same goes for all one steps or UHQR’s. Hopefully later this week. Glad to know it sounds good.

Thanks for the comparisons JIm. I have both the Legacy and the Mo-Fi 2X45. I noticed an improvement overall with the Mo-Fi and decided not to pursue the One-Step as the 2X45 sounded so good. Sounds like I may have made the right decision as the One-Step appears to have really only a further slight improvement.

Wish I could afford that One Step - maybe one day. I will stick with trying to find the 45 RPM version. Am so curious what the red cover version of Raise The Roof that is. Is that the Target version ? We don't have that available in Australia.

Great once agian.
The opinions seem very split on the 45s. I guess when its this close and one is reportedly mostly just a bit brighter vs bassier it all comes down to ones system and preference. I dont really think the One Step process adds much in terms of fidelity, just a quieter noise floor which varies in importance of course.
