My father was a supposed pastor and beat me regularly. I am now 76 years old and still carry the emotional and mental bruises.

My pastor's parents beat us kids for 17 years of our lives, and nothing was ever done about it. But I'm happy to say I never beat any of my children . I wouldn't want to inflict pain on them. And their all good kids.

Sometimes the wives try to act so innocent even if they don't personally do it themselves they allow their husbands to do so without intervening. Or sometimes they do it themselves.

My dad was a Baptist minister and he never raised a hand to me or my two sister's! He taught me how to fish and hammer in a nail, cut wood when he built a small barn from reclaim wood for my horse. I was one of the lucky ones, with parent's that WANTED us! Now at nearly seventy, I still miss him!
