It was so infuriating that she wouldn't just call someone, they gave her so many opportunities. I understand alcoholism very well, and it's so hard to overcome. I hope she gets the help she needs.

Back when I was a teacher, I had a teacher friend who was an alcoholic. I knew he had a problem but had no idea that he was drunk at work. He was caught, lost his job, went through a really rough patch, but is now 5 years clean and sober and completely turned his life around. I hope this woman gets help.

I had a co-worker who literally couldn't function without drinking wine. Her body literally needed it, or she would seize. It was tragic. She's currently serving 6 months for her third DUI. I pray this is the final awakening she needs.
