Bodycam footage shows the moment a gunfight erupted inside a “Motel 6” when a deputy pretended to be a front desk worker to serve a warrant on May 16. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office said deputies attempted to serve arrest warrants to Brooke Badger and Jon Niccum before the shootout began. If I'm legally armed, and someone comes into my room claiming to be hotel staff, while shining a flashlight in my face, I'm going to think I'm being robbed.

Wait...they don't have to identify themselves as law enforcement? Even on a no knock they are yelling police or sherrifs office...this could easily turn into a case of mistaken identity

I’m not sure if I’m missing something but dude could of been asleep and just woke up to the “front desk” knock, and then gets told to put his hands up, that sounds like a robbery to me if I was just waking up. No “this is the police station come out with your hands up” or anything. Pls correct me.

Why does she say they are still searching for the Badger girl? Badger stepped out of the room right before the officer entered. She was with the other officer in the hallway so, how do they not have her in custody? 🤔 I must have missed something.
