As an American soldier, I must tell you about the war in Iraq and the similarities between Iraq and Palestine.

So many of my combat buddies were videotaping very inhumane acts. Soldiers kept photo albums of dead people, as if they were showing off like a hunter and his trophy deer.

I remember one picture I saw of a mother and father and two small children. They looked very distressed. The soldier who shared this with me told me how they had raped the woman and then taken the whole family.

I couldn't contain my disgust. I might add that most American soldiers just think they are liberating the world from oppression. Most of the soldiers I know are endocrine and propaganda brainwashed from birth.

Most Americans I know are against all of this. What I don't understand about the BS in Iraq is how badly we were lied to about the very reason we were there in the first place. The Iraq war, there were videos and pictures in private and not public.

All of this is right in everyone's face. Why is this still happening months later and when will it end? With the truth in front of everyone, how do people justify their support in this?

I was born a Christian and it is written in the Bible that we will know them by their fruits. I don't understand why so many choose the blindfold and I never will. If you sit in silence, you are just as guilty as if you pulled the trigger yourself.
