I live in Arizona, near the Indian reservation. I recognized the area in this video immediately. Last year I didn't see any wild horses, but in January of 2019 I stumbled upon a herd of wild horses in the reservation. I'm so touched they were able to save Mila.

I had never seen a true curly haired horse before. What a sweet filly & props to the Momma nurse who so graciously accepted her after her own foal died. Not every mare will decide to. She really is a miracle survival story. She didn't have many more days left, T.G. someone rescued her when they did.
