Here, the horse is fine, the baby is fine, everyone is healthy and happy. It’s just simply a boy and the horse that loves him so much that it comes when he and only he calls.

I follow them. Just recently Colton told his Mom that MayMay was HIS horse and Mom needs to get her own horse. Absolutely adorable.

This story has me crying. That is a very special relationship. It is so obvious how much Maple loves that little boy and she is so so gentle with him. This will be a life long friendship. I hope there are new videos of the two in the coming years.

I’ve met a couple horses who were enamoured with little kids. It’s like they know they’re fragile and need extra attention. My last one would stand so attentively and quiet with kids up to 8, but any older than that and he lost interest. He also loved young horses, and would run around with the babies along the fence if he was pastured next to them
