Of course the foal refused to leave her side . The mother is absolutely essential for her survival . The source of food, comfort, protection, guidance, love . She is the whole world to that foal .

That little one is just perfect, so worried about mommy as any normal creature would b. I’m so happy she got the care she needed to get up and since there’s no follow up, I’m going to believe she’s home with her family and they are living their best lives.

We will never know how long she lay there like that, and her little one could only look on and pace frantically, i never knew this could happen to a horse, we live and learn.
