How To Brew Coffee with Bodum Pour Over Coffee Maker

A quick video on how to use the Bodum 6 cup pour over coffee maker. Enjoy!

to avoid diluting your coffee and getting a weak or sour taste, try to avoid pouring water directly on the sides of the filter. the water will run down and completely skip the grounds. pour close to the edge but don’t actually hit it. other than that great video!

To keep darker residue from forming and the pour over jar, I use an unbleached cone filter, makes the coffee taste a lot better in my opinion

Your blade grinder is a no-no. Get a decent burr grinder. About $100, but worth it.

Get a burr grinder. Will 10x the taste of it. Just make sure it has metal burrs

I got a pour over so I would not have any plastics around something acidic. Do the same but use non bleached paper filters.

A 16:1 water to coffee ratio is way more coffee than 1 tbsp per cup. Anyone else?

Mine came with metal filter but so much settlement

Get rid of the plastic filter! That was just a very very watered down coffee.
