If you add just enough hot water to cover the beans, wait ten minutes then fill with room temp water. you can drop your brew time to a few hours and give it a bolder flavor.

I freeze my grounds to take to a friend's compost pile! It's really great to get the compost hot which helps decomposition! Excited to try this method :)
