I upgraded to the mini from a 2018 11 iPad Pro. I haven’t really noticed the lack of pro-motion (or at least enough to care about it). For me the mini is way less cumbersome when taking notes for stake holders or work meetings. I still have my Mac for my main design work but the mini has been a great companion tablet

I have an iPad mini first generation (but I’ve had to retire it because it’s super slow and can’t be updated anymore), and I upgraded to iPad mini five, I also have a 12.9 inch pro, and by far the mini is my absolute favorite. It’s so portable and easy to take anywhere, just throw it in my purse and go. I use it mainly for reading books and magazines and some social media, nothing big so it’s perfect for that. Considering upgrading to a mini six.

I'm giving up my 11in iPad for this new iPad Mini 6. I have a macbook, so I don't feel the 11in iPad fills any need that the mini can't. I'm into small form factors.

I like Go to Settings -> Home Screen and turn on “Use Large App Icons”. Also I go to Display and turn on “Bold Text”.

The iPad mini is the first iPad I’ve owned and it’s so great! I wanted it for the smaller size and to be able to use it for watching YT vids, social media, general browsing and reading… and the occasional Netflix episode every now and then. It really works well for me, but I can see why it might not for others.. great little device! Also the cherry cover looks so good on the starlight. Will definitely be picking it up in that colour when it’s available (it’s on preorder.. approx weeks away!). Ended up getting the black as least I’ll have some protection but even then that’s 3 weeks away.

I haven’t noticed jelly since I’m not actively looking for it and just use the device normally. Fantastic form factor and great first apple product I’ve ever had

I use an iPad mini because it is the form factor I want in a tablet. With the long overdue upgrades to the sixth version for me it was a no brainer. I had an original mini and the size was perfect. The bigger iPads aren’t much different to a smaller MacBook Air which I already have, and the portability wins out over some of the downsides like the high PPI making screen elements appear small. Thankfully that can be mostly negated by setting the system font size larger and the default safari zoom (in settings) one notch up.

There is just something about the mini that the other iPads don’t have. Something that makes it seem more futuristic then the others. The weight and feel is so much better to me then the bigger ones

Starlight is a nice color. Very light gold almost gives me the Iphone 5S flashbacks
