The iPad Mini is all-new for 2021. Apple has redesigned the hardware with a larger 8.3-inch display, replaced the Lightning port with USB-C, and added support for the second-generation Apple Pencil. Pricing starts at $499 for the 64GB Wi-Fi-only model and $649 for the 5G-enabled cellular version.

I am a pilot and I work as a flight instructor currently. I ordered the new mini and I can’t wait to start using it! It’s perfect for using in the cockpit with ForeFlight.

I very much agree with the reviewer about the iPad mini size in such an ergonomic manner that it provides a very good balance between engaging with your device while giving room for open social engagement at the same time. It avoids the personal isolation when using an iPhone and even "movie mode" in an iPad Pro .

It's so perfectly right in size

Middle child...
So that's why he knows how to deal with every age group.

Would you rather fight 100 iPad Mini-sized Dieters or 1 Dieter-sized iPad Mini?

A review of an 8.3-inch iPad in 8.32-minutes ... NICE

I picked one up and so far I love it. Just the perfect size for watching videos, playing games and reading. I also wanted something I could take with me easily when traveling.

Use an iphone mini for call and ipad mini for everything else. That's just perfect

I just noticed a good portion of this review doesn't have background music. I am a big fan of this new strategy.

As a father who bought an iPad for his daughter to use for school work before he realized that it didn't have multi-user support: HARP AWAY. I would kill for that. It blows me away that Apple thinks each child having their own $329 device is a reasonable ask.

I don't know why, but everytime I see Dieter review a tech product, that brings a smile on my face 😅 Great review again!

I own one, and it's awesome for productivity in portrait orientation. It's big enough to be way more useful than a phone, but small enough to two-thumb type and hold comfortably. This morning I split-screened Slack and Email, quickly jumping between them and typing on both with my thumbs.

I hope Google treasures this man as much as the Verge and its viewers has.

I want this specifically to read manga. It’s finally the perfect size.

I adopted the iPad as my main computer in 2016, the first Pro pushed me over the edge. Without a work laptop a 13" screen was a great compliment to my desktop for meetings an travel. Since then I have been given a 13" laptop and the mini has been my favourite computer since late 2019. This updated model means I now only need one pencil which is nice and I can use all my USB-C accessories. This might spell the end for my 2018 12.9 Pro.

Kinda funny how people always yell around and say that the iPhone needs multi-window support but then on the iPad mini they say it's too small for good multi-window usage. And the iPad Mini has almost twice the screen size.

4:22 I DO THIS (but please stop playing into the notion that the Mini is just for calls and texting. It’s literally a supreme phone just smaller). I use my iPad mini on my train commute to work for reading the news, listening to music, and watching videos and iTunes downloads.

The Verge definitely forgot to add some background music in this video. Lol
